3:11 am pinecone falls
Low pressure will move into the area through Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 60's. Storms may be capable of producing heavy rain, gusty winds, frequent lightning, and hail. Low pressure will roll out of the area Tuesday afternoon with clearing skies Tuesday night. We'll remain somewhat cool and breezy through the middle of the week with highs in the lower to mid-60's, while overnight lows generally fall into the 30's. Another low-pressure system will approach the area on Thursday with clouds and winds on the increase. Showers could develop Thursday night becoming most likely on Friday. This will be a colder system and a little less convective, widespread thunderstorms are not expected as with our current storm. Colder Friday into the weekend as highs drop into the 50's, nearly 20-degrees below average with lows in the 20's. There's even an outside chance we could see a few flurries or dusting of snow across the highest elevations, mainly Friday night if any moisture lingers. Otherwise, clearing over the weekend and gradually warmer into early next week.
