As night falls on the nest no one is home. It's been a good day on the nest with H17 coming home and Mom and Dad being attentive and providing plenty of food for H17

Before I move on with todays events I notice this morning that the nest had been disturbed and going back on the DVR I see Mom and Dad came by the nest around 8.25Pm. Mom was definitely looking for H17 and Dad cleaned up H17 bedroom

Day - Cloudy this morning. Scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon. High 84F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
Night - Scattered thunderstorms early, then cloudy skies after midnight. Low near 65F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Good Morning H17

* H17 arrives on the nest at 7.32Am. Must of figured out that breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here. LOL
* He looking for nest overs and then moves up the branching branch calling Mom or Dad for room service

* 12.23Pm an eagle flies by the nest which I hope was one of the parents
* H17 still perched on the branching branch. Neither parent has been to the nest so no food yet

* H17 been waiting all day for a food delivery and Mom comes through with one at 5.58Pm
* H17 finally makes it down to the nest almost landing on Mom again. He needs work on landing
* The fish is still alive and Mom won't let H17 have it since it keeps flopping in the nest
* Mom more then willing to feed H17 but H17 keeps moving back to the branching branch and then back to the nest

* Mom does manage in between to get bites to H17
* Fish finished at 6.18Pm Mom moves to the branching branch and H17 right behind moving up to it and perching beside her before she leaves. He is complaining
* H17 move back to the top of the branch at 6.13Pm and is still there at 7.27Pm

* H17 still on the upper branch perched at 7.44Pm but it looks like he about to leave and he does at 7.45Pm
* Unfortunately H17 left a bit early and Dad in with a nice size eel at 8.15Pm
* Dad looks around and realizes H17 is gone so it dinner for one
* 8.34Pm Dad still on the nest eating

Day - Areas of fog early, becoming sunny this afternoon. Near record high temperatures. High around 95F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Night - Mainly clear skies. Low 71F. Winds light and variable.

* Dad stayed on the nest tree last night on the high perch. We get some nice close up this morning of him
* Dad hears something and leaves as the cam operator pans and when we get back to the nest tree H17 is home 6.21Am
* H17 drops to the nest and works on that eel Dad brought in last night. Not sure how much H17 ate
* Finished for now H17 moves up the branching branch and perches on the top branch 7.01Am
