* Around 7.07Am H17 starts his morning workout flapping and jumping
* H17 isn't just jumping anymore but hoovering over the nest now.
* You can see he is trying to figure out what branch to go to

* Dad delivers a small fish to the nest at 7.59Am. H17 mantles and Dad leaves
* H17 goes to work on self feeding

* It did take awhile but H17 did manage to finish off that fish on his own
* At 12.20Pm it is raining and H17 is dancing in the rain doing wingers. He then climbs up the branching branch 12.21Pm
* At 12.48Pm he is still there

* H17 been pretty much perches on that branch all afternoon. He still only is climbing it
* Mom arrives on the nest at 4.43Pm. H17 mantles but Mom has no food and I think she thought there might be some in the nest since she goes looking for every piece of nest over to feed H17
* She stays with H17 until 4.52Pm and leaves
* H17 always happy when she comes and starts doing wingers and jumps

* 5.58Pm Dad brings a really small fish in and H17 takes and Dad just leaves
* H17 self feeds and eats it all
* At 6.13Pm H17 just looking out of the nest

* Nest must have dried up enough for H17 to lay down. It been a rough couple days with all the rain and the nest been much to wet
* H17 back up at 7.11Pm. Some little birds are on the branches

So it is 8.36Pm and H17 just doing a bit of preening. No parent been back since Mom came in.

Day - Cloudy. Periods of rain this morning. High around 55F. Winds NE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%.
Night - Cloudy early with some clearing expected late. Low near 40F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.

* 6.46Am and we find H17 perched on the branching branch. He still climbing it and not flying up to it but soon
* 7.55Am H17 laying in the nest. It is a bit windy today

* At 1.08Pm neither parent has been in and there is no food on the nest. H17 is has been calling but there no sound on this cam so we don't know if there is a response
* H17 does continue to practice on hoovers and flapping those wings

Cam went down sometime this afternoon and came back up at 4.44Pm.

* Dad finally in with a squirrel at 5.30Pm
* H17 mantles and Dad just gets out of there. H17 hasn't from what I have seen has had any food since yesterday
* Being that it is a squirrel H17 haven't a hard time with it
* Mom in at 5.31Pm but lands on the branch and just watches H17. Mom probably waiting until H17 gives up on the squirrel to help.
