Anyone who had cam 1 up on computer must heard all the warning alerts going on, from H&M , and E15. They must have came running to computer.. I'm not sure what's going on . I tuned in 7:19. Continuous warnings went on for over 5 minutes by all! Only E15 was in view

7:25pm , M leaves. Harriet & E still vocal!
M15 Returns at 7:27 pm.

Then M leaves toward pond this time. Not sure what happen, but everybirdy seems OK . Sure hope this wasn't a family discussion about E15,

19:59:38 -- sounded like something landing (or moving) on the Cam 1 housing. E15 on the outer attic looking toward the cam, squees.

Grosbeak, I hear something too. Don't think its the wind. Harriet might still be in the tree?? But E15 is still , yapping on & off.

19:27 I can hear Harriet in the tree, so I think this is M15 chasing the subadult. Subadult yellow arrow, M15 red arrow.

19:27 Adult (I think M15) has landed back on an outer branch from the chase. The yellow arrow shows the subadult leaving, heading N past the church.

I'm not quick enough to get that great shot. Yours were great today
:bye 1: lovinnature! I saw your comment about not being quick enough to get that great shot. It made me wonder...do you change the playback speed on the dvr to 0.25 to playback in slo-mo to get your screen captures? That's what I do and it is a game changer.

19:27 The adult takes off again heading N.

19:28 I can hear what sounds like a landing on the upper branch, and I can hear Harriet. And E15 of course.

19:31:09 E15 tracks something in, I can hear the landing, then both adults can be heard vocalizing to one another. I am guessing both are now on the upper branch.

19:39 Harriet and E15 vocalize.

19:40 It appears the subadult flies by again.

19:51 Sounds like the adults may be in the upper branches, based on movement sounds. All seems quiet now.

YW Grosbeak. All seems quiet and I will peek at the dvr before I crash. All normal stuff for this time of year. Lots of eagles are arriving back here in Florida. I think the adults are in the nest tree/nest tree area.

I'm new to eagle watching and I've been just addicted to this season. I've tried to do some research on my own, but I can't seem to find anything. Does any vet eagle watcher know why E15 would come back to the nest tree after being gone for about a week? Also, he/she mantles towards the adults a lot. Is it a possibility of a "child" running parents off of a nest tree and taking over? Is that something that ever happens in nature/with eagles? I'm super curious about all of this.

Thanks to any that can help with insight! :)

Hi wareaglewatcher, sure is easy to get addicted to watching these eagles!! we all know the feeling :rh: . i dont think anyone knows what or why E15 is doing anything this year. As long as i watched, and from all i have heard said, this is unusual. Then again this whole year 2020 has been most unusal. Im just kind of happy to being able to still watch E15. Thank you Pritchett family !!

21:53 M15 leaves the upper branches, I think trying to land in outer attic and misses. Or maybe he saw something and flew after it. :dunno:

21:53 M15 can be seen flying past this backlit tree as he loops around the pasture.

21:53 M15 lands back in the attic. I think this is M15 from his vocals, and also I can hear Harriet, probably still in the upper branches, right before he lands.

21:56 M15 is watchful.

22:26 M15 seems settled, E15 out further on the outer attic, Harriet most likely still in upper branches out of view based on her earlier vocal.

Okay guys. I have been traveling all day. Get home and open up the puter and ....well
I can't go away for two days and you all stir up so much excitement. :D Great scaps and reports today.
Feel like I didn't miss a thing.

2152 E15 is vocal and watching something. Harriet vocal- sounds like up on cam housing or near.

2153 M comes flying in to outer attic- oops! E15 is there. M does a quick drop and escape.
92720mflyin.jpg
2153 M circles around and lands on attic. Vocal alarms from Harriet and M and E15.
