Today, Dennis Becht went to the refuge & shared photos of his visit to the Trio nest. (Posted here with permission from Dennis Becht)

It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

Valor 1 in nest while Valor2 & Starr are still perched together.

I am not sure if these pictures are in the order they were taken. It looks like Starr with her wings raised, V2 looking down at her, so V1 must be behind V2. Wish I could see the face of the eagle in the back to confirm what I am seeing, but the eagle with the wings raised does look like it has shading around the eyes, like Starr has.

Dennis Becht visited the refuge today to see the Trio. He decided to yell Starr's name to see if he could get one of the eagle's to look at him. Here is the result...gorgeous pictures of Valor 1! Thank you, Dennis! Pictures are used with permission.

And here is a picture of Valor 1 & Starr perched together closeup & showing right above the nest. Looks like they slowed down in building the nest. Don't want it to outgrow the tree! :D
