3:46 pm: Valor 1 lands on the nest with a long stick, quickly followed by Valor 2. They both quickly got to work with nestorations.
It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

Time for a little guard duty. All Three at the Nest This Evening
3:50 pm: V2 is the first to leave.
Followed by V1 (he's preparing for take off in this pic).
The Trio together had one final visit to the nest from 4:47 pm to 4:56 pm. It was cute. Valor 1 ended up on the upper branch. I could be wrong, but I think Valor 2 was stating his intentions to mate with Starr, until she got all kissy face with him. This video is by nighteagle007 & used with permission.

8:03 pm Joan, thank you so much for getting those observations for today with our Trio eagles. Especially love seeing them in the late afternoon coming in to take care of nest business. Appreciate it so much!

Good morning, Philippe, Joan, Sue and all Trio lovers. Oh it looks to be a beautiful day at the Trio nest! Again, Philippe, thanks for checking in during the nighttime hours and Joan, appreciate the posts of yesterday's visits to the nest by the Trio.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. From the Stewards FB page with permission about a trip to the Refuge:
Note: we knew there were visitors around the nest tree as there was much protection of food brought in. In the videos mentioned, could hear the Trio eagles calling out. Photo credit from videos: Ryan and Sharon Gatzke EcksteinMom and I went to see the Trio over the holiday weekend. There are a lot of eagles flying around but it's no doubt when you see them around the nest. It seemed they were in "protect the nest" mode because whenever an outsider would fly in the vicinity of the nest all 3 would start to call as if to say STAY AWAY!!

Good Morning Sandy, Philippe, Joan, and all Trio Lovers! We have one of the Trio in the nest right now.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:28 am - I think this was Valor 1 that was in. He didn’t do much but just sit there and look around. I did see a few adults fly by but no one else ever came to the nest. Valor 1 seemed like he was waiting for coming but after no one came he flew off.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:47 am- I think this is Valor 1 again that comes in. He may have brought a stick but hard to tell with this morning lighting.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:53 am - after working around the nest a little, then seeming to be waiting for someone, Valor 1 left.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
7:57 am - Someone is back again....but this looks more like Starr to me (I could be wrong though). Comes in at a weird angle from the right but then lands over on the left. Appeared to have brought on a stick.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
8:02 am - Starr headed up to the attic and was watching around. She turned and started vocalizing before flying off.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2019 - 2020
8:12 am - 8:26 am - another visit. This looks like Valor 1 again and now I’m wondering if it’s been him every time this morning. Hard for me to feel confident on my ID’g as I’m viewing from my small phone screen. If anyone has been watching and can see better to ID please do so.
This time like earlier, Valor 1 just sat around keeping an eye on things. He did focus a few time on something out across the water but I never saw anyone flying around out there. 8:26 am - Valor 1 flew off.
