Update from Dennis Becht 11-23-20, shared with permission.
Just a couple quick shots as I head out for work. I visited the nest this morning and got all three there. Starr was placing a stick, more later when I get a chance to go through them

Dennis Becht went back to the refuge today to try out a new lens he bought for his camera. He was able to capture all three of the Trio! Photos are used with Dennis' permission.

Three pictures of Starr. The nest looks like it has grown some more!

It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

Wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving to all the Trio followers.
A special thanks to those who allow us to share images of our beloved Trio eagles, Starr and her Valors!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Dennie Becht ran out to the refuge to capture photos of our Trio. He found the Valors at home.
Valor 2 in these 3 shots. The first photo is also a great view on the nest progress. (photos are used with Dennis' permission)

Great photos of Valor 1. There is also a beautiful shot of Valor 1 with the moon behind him, but unfortunately it is only being used for purchase.

Phillipe, I am so sorry to see you leave. :brknhrt: You added so much to the observations and could see you enjoyed watching the Trio. I sincerely hope you will reconsider and come back to join us, especially to follow the Trio eagles and hopefully next year, the cam following their activities.

I just happen to be at the nest at the right time this Thanksgiving and got the moon rising behind Valor 1.

Dennis Becht went out to the refuge again today. Unfortunately, I was tied up, so I could not ID the eagles for him before he had to head for work. But he promises to share more photos tomorrow.
The first three pics are of Valor 1 in the nest tree & on the nest. (photos are used with permission)

These 3 photos are of Starr in flight, carrying nesting material, then landing on the nest with it. I absolutely love seeing these inflight photos.

A juvie followed Starr to the nest, most likely thinking she had food. She first hollered at him, very loudly, but he wouldn't leave, so she went after him. To me, the juvie looks like he is going into his 2nd winter, meaning he will be turning 2 this coming nesting season.
