Minnesota DNR Eagle Cam - Seasons 2019-2021

Hello Rita, Ferenz and everyone who follows this nest

I wanted to check on our babies and this is what I saw:

They flew off somewhere
They are clearly more confident now and take off better and with intent
I so want these 2 to be successful because of the Dad being a first time parent

Hi Bee. I think these two are going to be just fine. E2 flew off just fine this morning. E1 is flying in every direction around the nest. Fully expect E1 to just take off one of these too.

12:09 pm E1 is back at the nest and taking a rest.

12:28 pm Both eaglets back at the nest.

12:55 pm It's windy at the nest.

1:00 pm Better view of both.

1:12 pm Food delivery!

1:25 pm It's extremely windy at the nest. Both went back to the right side in the shade.

1:35 pm Not sure who was on the left side but my best guess is that it was E2. Flew down and off the branch. Did it on purpose.

2:10 pm E2 hasn't returned yet.

2:56 pm E1 is up on a branch on the right. E2 still hasn't returned yet.

3:15 pm E1 takes flight from the branch on the right. Both eaglets are out flying around now. This is a great day!

4:01 pm One of the kids just returned.

4:25 pm Eaglet went to the left branch.

4:33 pm Close up! I'm thinking we have E2 here.

4:45 pm Looks like E1 could use a good meal.

4:49 pm Sure is a beautiful eaglet.

5:25 pm The cam op needs to move the cam back. E1 has been laying down in nest for several minutes now.
