8:04 pm Simba is still asleep and still alone on the nest.

8:08 pm Mrs BB returned to the nest from the right side. She did not bring any food.

8:07 pm mom is back (we took the same pic Rita! )

8:12 pm Well the IR is on now. Unfortunately it looks like Simba goes to bed without dinner tonight. All we can do is hope for a better tomorrow for Simba. Maddy it's time for me to log off for the night. Thank you so much for all that you have done today. Good night and SED's.

Good morning Maddy, Merianne, Philjo. Thank you so much Maddy and Philjo for the night reports.

It looks like it's going to be another hot day in Big Bear. 5:34 am Simba is awake and looking toward the lake.

5:38 am He is back to resting. 6:04 am Simba is all tucked in and sleeping. Hope he gets breakfast soon.

6:14 am Simba is awake again and looking toward the lake. 6:20 am Hearing adult chatter and trills from a nearby tree. Simba stands up. He went toward the left and is preening. Time of the morning for the sunbeams.
