Thanks zoomie for the shot of Simba standing at the rails and the long shot down down to the ground. Simba is growing up standing with the big guys now.
That was a tricky shot.

4:39 pm Shadow returns. Simba appears to be calling or squeeing but there are no sounds to be heard. A couple of very soft sounds a moment later.

4: 41 pm Simba lays down. Just before he did he appeared to need to vomit again but I didn't see anything come out.

4:38 pm Shadow hits Simba while landing, Simba falls

4:56 pm It looks like Simba could be in a crouched position. Can't be sure at this angle.

5:10 pm Shadow is still with Simba. He didn't mean to knock Simba over. Think he landed on his tail. Startled Simba. Shadow is sitting with him now and I think that is very sweet.

5:19 pm Shadow checks on Simba every time he moves.

5:21 pm Simba is up, and backs up for a PS.

Shadow goes to perch on the exit branch.

5:33 pm Still really windy at the nest.

5:48 pm Heard Simba's squee calls this time. He's been preening and watching little birds. Shadow is still on the exit branch.

6:04 pm Simba is taking a little cap now. Standing up also. Shadow is still on the exit branch.

6:11 pm Mrs BB lands on the left branch.

6:13 pm On to the nest she hops and gets the fish. Hope she is feeding Simba.

6:15 pm Not hearing any of those happy eating sounds from Simba.

No she is not feeding him. Simba is still standing where he was.

Simba is making no attempts to get pieces of this fish.

6:23 pm Mrs BB goes to the exit branch and flies off. Simba goes to lay down. To me he is still acting like he needs to either vomit or expel a pellet. The rat he ate was...oh my probably 3 days ago without going back to look. That should have already been expelled.

Shadow flew off too.

6:28 pm Simba is resting now. At least he is in a natural position this time and not crouched over.
