2:46 pm Oh no Maddy. I was so hoping he was going to eat well while I was gone. He really needs to get that pellet up if that is still causing an issue. He ate fish this morning.

I agree Maddy. He's not very active at all. Looks rather lethargic. Lets hope it's just the heat and that pellet that he needs to work on getting up and out!

2:57 pm He's back to resting again.

3:02 pm Mrs BB is back and makes her way to the exit branch to perch. Simba made a couple of soft squee's, but he didn't move.

3:05 pm Simba is having a nap, mom is on the exit branch

3:27 pm Simba is still sleeping. He doesn't have his head back but resting on the nesting material. Mrs BB is still perched on the exit branch.

3:37 pm Mrs BB has flown off. Simba is still resting.

3:48 pm Looks like Simba is kind of laying on his side.

3:51 pm Simba is standing up again. Did preen a wing for a moment. Must have had an itch.

4:05 pm it's getting very windy, the weather is changing. Right now it is about 70 F around the nest, tomorrow it is suppose to be 74 and 77 on Monday.

4:11 pm Oh my. This is not a good position for Simba to be resting in. Healthy birds don't do this. Have a feeling he has feather lice too. Also not a good thing.
