Thanks for stopping by here Snowmanque! We are lucky to have Sandy here to catch those important milestones in the eaglets' lives! So happy you checked here to find the videos. We will try to record as much as possible until the cam goes down just to catch any visits, but if you should be watching and see anyone on the nest please feel free to post it here.snowmanque wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 6:08 amI'm so glad this forum is here. I only get to check the feed very, very infrequently. I knew about Peace's mishap, so was a little taken aback when I checked in just now and couldn't see any of the trio at all. How nice to find out they've all fledged and to be able to see video captures of the last two!
Thanks, Sandy_W!!

Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
I've been recording for a good part of the morning and have not seen any visits to the nest. I did miss 20 minutes (9:26 - 9:46 am) though....my brain was somewhere else and I forgot to start the recording again. In any case, since about 7:30 am and until 9:54 am there have been no visits....lots of birdie noises though.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
Such great news!, How happy to have all 3 off the nest! Thank you both Sandy and Sue for all your continued great coverage and of course all Trio lovers for sharing.
I have to say my time has been very limited this season, but even at that these 3 really got on well together, well right up until the time Peace was given the shove off
But up until that time on the nest they seemed to get along very well, even when the food arrived there seemed to be an understanding of sharing, like some would be left for one of the other eaglets to have some leftovers. The little that I was able to watch was very enjoyable and I truly Thank the Stewards, zoomie, and all participants who make this nest special.

Fish delivered...Eaglet on the nest!!!
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
I'm pretty sure it was Starr that delivered the fish...not sure which eaglet it is
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
3:57--I had been hearing an eagle close by for nearly 30 minutes. Then suddenly I hear wings, and looked up and Starr had brought a fish to the nest. The squealing got very loud. I could see wings fluttering below the nest, and then an eaglet comes up and mantles the fish.
Still lots of squees.Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
4:00 pm - the eaglet drags the fish to the other corner...of course behind the logos
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
Hi Kim! So glad you were here to see this too! I know...I have been recording all day and just happen to pass by my screen and saw Starr on the nest....had to run and grab a s'cap...then saw the eaglet.Kimf wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 2:03 pm3:57--I had been hearing an eagle close by for nearly 30 minutes. Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
4:04 pm - they either want Starr to feed them or don't want her there as they are squeeing away and now not eating
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
4:09--I wondered about the non-eating also. Hadn't considered that Starr might be a threat. But now the eaglet is eating. I thought Starr was probably staying there as a guard against intruders.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
Here's a clip of the beginning when Starr comes in with the fish and I didn't realize this but the eaglet seemed to climb up to the nest from the front side.....from below and left of the attic branch.....I didn't see them fly into there so I wonder how long they were there before the fish came in.

Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
4:19--the eaglet walks away and Starr takes control of the fish. She offers one bite to the eaglet, which was taken, but subsequent ones weren't. So Starr is having a nice meal. The eaglet seems to be making chirping noises. Cute.
Re: Trio of Eagles 2018-2019
Sue I saw the eaglet come in. It was more of a climb with some wing flaps for an extra boost. I wouldn't call it a fly-in at all. Starr and the fish were only there for maybe 30 seconds if that long. Not long at all.SueB wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 2:16 pmHere's a clip of the beginning when Starr comes in with the fish and I didn't realize this but the eaglet seemed to climb up to the nest from the front side.....from below and left of the attic branch.....I didn't see them fly into there so I wonder how long they were there before the fish came in.

4:45 pm - I had to step away but still recording....both on the rail and this eaglet looks huge compared to Starr...hmmm, who are you?
