Good night/morning everyone, bonjour Bev, Heather, …!

Great pics of Samson and the intruder (Juvie, Hawk ?) Bev and Heather

01h36 No cams tonight
From AEF NEFL Eagle Nest Chat

May 26, 4:04 AM gretchen_AEF (Admin): SATURDAY TUCK: Samson was a "no show" for tuck at the nest and the LY, but he arrived at the nest for a bit prior. It seems the RSH has a nest in the Hamlet, and Samson is being annoyed by them dive-bombing. I guess they are letting Samson know eagle nesting season is over and to move on. We will likely be seeing more of him is my guess! Have a safe and memorable Memorial Weekend, y'all!

May 26, 6:18 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): Good early Sunday morning Hamlet! Midnight check-in shows cams are down at this time...it has been reported. Thanks for your patience!

May 26, 6:22 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): Connor reports there may be a power outage at the moment...perhaps will be resolved soon.

May 26, 6:22 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): SED's everyone! We will hope to see Samson and our osprey friends in the morning!

May 26, 7:00 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): By the way, today is Grape Popsicle Day, so if you are gathering with friends and family, be sure to include one and be safe if you are travelling or facing bad weather!

SUNDAY , May 26. 2019

Good Moring NEFl , Philjo, Heather ... thanks Heather for the scaps and obs.last night :huggie:

May 26, 7:42 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Good Sunday morning! Power is apparently still an issue in the Hamlet this morning...what you are viewing is not live.

May 26, 7:44 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Perhaps too many air conditioners running on high yesterday, and today's forecast is for more of the same. Temps low 70's to upper 80's with barely a breeze going. Small chance of a shower towards evening. Enjoy your Sunday and everyone be safe!

May 26, 7:46 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): We'll check on the power at the first opportunity and keep you all posted!

May 26, 11:17 AM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Gretchen has checked on the power and there is still no power at the electrical box in the Hamlet. It is apparent that an electrician will be needed, which will likely happen after the holiday. We will do our best to keep you updated on activity seen from the ground and any updates on the power issue.

From AEF NEFL Eagle Nest Chat

May 26, 4:19 PM jd_AEF (Moderator): We appreciate your patience and hope that everyone is saluting those who have sacrificed for our Country and enjoying time with friends and family. Have a wonderful Sunday!

May 27, 3:16 AM gretchen_AEF (Admin): SUNDAY TUCK: Checking the nest 3 times today, Samson wasn't spotted. He was a "no show" at the LY this evening as well. We will be checking tomorrow and checking off-site where he often perches as well. We hope power to the equipment box will be restored early next week. SED Y'all

May 27, 6:00 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): It’s the stroke of midnight and that means it is officially National Memorial Day. We salute and honor those who made the greatest sacrifice for our freedom and offer prayers for their families and loved ones. The Eagles we all love are a beautiful symbol of that freedom and they remind us to be ever grateful for those who continue to work each day to protect it. Many thanks to AEF for the honor and support they give to our Veterans and Troops each and every day.

May 27, 6:00 AM jd_AEF (Moderator): Have a beautiful and safe Holiday! SED’s to Romeo, Juliet, and Samson…”We are Family” on this special day and every day!

MONDAY , MAY 27 , 2O19

Good Morning and no new updates !

It is a day to Honor and Reflect

May 27, 2:25 PM
gretchen_AEF (Admin): An eagle was spotted off-site this morning and again this afternoon in the same trees Samson perches in closer to the ocean by the golf course. There's no way to confirm if it was Samson, but likely so based on size and characteristics viewable.

May 27, 10:32 PM
gretchen_AEF (Admin): MONDAY TUCK: Unfortunately nothing to report tonight. No sightings at the nest or the LY, but I believe Samson is still around (see post above), and hopefully we will have the cams up soon. SED Y'all !

May 27, 10:33 PM
gretchen_AEF (Admin): CAMS ARE DOWN. . . Regretfully there is no power at the electrical box in the Hamlet. It is apparent that an electrician will be needed which will happen after the holiday. The electrician has been contacted. We will do our best to keep you updated on activity seen from the ground and any updates on the power issue.

May 29, 3:05 AM gretchen_AEF (Admin): TUESDAY TUCK: No sign of Samson tonight at the nest or the LY. I'll be checking in his off-site favorite spots tomorrow. It was very quiet in the Hamlet tonight. For those facing the serious weather thru the midwest and NE, please be safe and prepared. You have our concern and our prayers.

May 30, 4:28 AM gretchen_AEF (Admin): WEDNESDAY TUCK: Thanks to Lisa for the report above. No sign of our eagles at the LY tonight either. Some devices may have audio. Cam 3 IR is off until the foliage is trimmed which greatly distorts the view. SED Y'all
