otd_AEF (Moderator): Good afternoon! All is quiet in the Hamlet. Hopefully our Romeo and Juliet will show up soon.
Sep 27, 8:38 PM
jd_AEF (Moderator): Good evening! 7:37 pm It appears Romeo and Juliet are pretty happy with their nest so are taking an evening off from nestorations. Ground crew is on site looking for their sleeping spots for the night.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): THURSDAY Tuck-In: Those rascals were in hiding tonight. Combing the Hamlet as it was getting quite dark, one eagle was spotted perched by the lake high in a tree behind the nest. That's all that was found. But all is well. Check in tomorrow around 7am, and it's likely Juliet will arrive at the nest. SED Y'all

From Cam Chat
Sep 29, 8:48 PM
tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Romeo returned not long after he had flown, he and Juliet worked a little more perfecting their nest, Romeo perched on the Sunset branch for a bit, and Juliet on Lookout Point, and they are now perched side by side on the sleeping branches. Some vocals were expressed but we still have not seen them bond yet.
Sep 29, 8:57 PM
tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Looks like our sweet couple may be spending the night at the nest tree! Wishing you all a safe and wonderful night, Sed's to you all, and to Romeo and Juliet!

Sep 29, 9:34 PM
gretchen_AEF (Admin): SATURDAY Tuck-In: As you may see Romeo and Juliet are roosting on their "Sleeping Branches" which are lower branches on the tree. The bright light in view is the off-tree IR (infra-red). This season IR is mounted on the nest tree and another one on a distant tree providing better night time viewing. IR is not visible to the eagles or to humans on-site. IR generates minimal heat which is what attract bugs (not the light itself). No worries as AEF wouldn't install IR if it would jeopardize the eagles.

Once the rain stopped, they flew and were both found perched at The Point across the lake from their Sleeping Tree. Enjoy the "views" and please join us for chat in the morning (8am EST)! SED Y'all
