Police Academy

Very blustery at the nest. One parent perched on a branch but keeping a close eye on the eaglets. Both eaglets resting but there is something flying above which caught there attention.

Enjoy your day.

Police Academy

Look at the size of the crop on the eaglet standing up.
No issues with food at this nest. Both eaglets are well feed.
Good providers.

Police Academy

Feeding taking place.
I believe this is Ma at the nest.
I did not witness any aggression between the eaglets which makes me believe there is a good food source in the area.
Feeding over and both eaglets have very large crops.

Family photo.
Very blustery. I believe it is Pa hanging on to the branch.
Both eaglets are full and laying low. Hope they stay as low as possible in the nest.

It was a busy day in the nest on Friday! Lots of good meals too!

Too much cuteness---love the fuzzy "hair"!!

Rocking back and forth and showing off those new yellow clown feet!

Mom looks a bit awkward here ---she is swallowing the entire carcass of the leftover squirrel while the kids watch in awe! :D

Police Academy

Wind still blowing but not as hard as yesterday.
Both eaglets snuggled together and sleeping.
Ma standing tall and watching.
Not sure if breakfast has arrived.

Police Academy

Another glorious day.
I believe this is ma perched on a limb.
Both eaglets laying in the center of the nest.
One eaglet was up and preening when he/she poked the other eaglet.
The other eaglet who looks to be the alpha eaglet bonked the other eaglet into submission. Poor sod.
Both are fine. There is a small difference in size but with plenty of food brought to the nest both eaglets are feed very well.
Crops on both eaglets are very small this morning so they must be waiting to be feed which of course makes them antsy with each other thus the bonking. But I could be wrong.

Police Academy

Parent at the nest with the two eaglets.
Something has her attention as she was calling out and looking upwards.
Does not look like the eaglets have been feed.
Crops are empty.

Police Academy

Parent just left the nest.
Both eaglets were grooming but then the smaller one lay down.
You can really see the difference in size.

I opened the cam and right away BAM! Somebody was in a hurry ;)
KIDS BAM 4-10-18.jpg
Smaller EEC3 has a huge crop. It sure ate well at the last feeding.
KIDS 4 ate well 4-10-18.jpg
EEC4 with a smaller crop was busy discovering it's big yellow clown feet! It was really wiggling those toes! :D

Police Academy

Ma was keeping an eye on our eaglets and at one point looked like she was falling asleep or catching some shut eye.
Ma has since departed the nest and both eaglets, Liberty and Justice are sleeping.
Breezy at the nest but a nice day.
