4:21 pm Stormy is resting in the nest.

4:56 pm Stormy gets dinner delivered.

jwin36 The only way to see would be if the sub comes back and is at the right angle on the nest. I didn't notice one when it was there. We know that Stormy has both ankles banded.

6:05 pm Stormy finished his meal and is resting in the nest again. It's quite windy at the nest tonight.

6:40 pm Stormy is still resting. Really is windy at the nest.

NO eagles have been to the nest that I know of. Just rolled back as far as I could.

Looks like our little beauty of an intruder is visiting the nest again. IWS thinks it’s a female and maybe has designs on Mr. BB. Right now she is rearranging the furniture at the nest; then hops to a higher branch. Mom, Dad and Stormy are no where to be seen.

Good morning everyone. Thank you for the scaps last night Merianne.

5:07 am The sub adult is on the nest and moving some sticks.

It went out onto the exit branch and flew off. No sign of Stormy or Mr or Mrs BB this morning.

It's the pine cone that brought her, I am sure! she is very pretty!

9:40 am The sub adult returns. Does seem bigger than Stormy. Could possibly be a female. She moved a stick or two again.

Pretty evening in Big Bear and no wind. Haven't seen Stormy or parents all day. Only the sub adult.

Good morning everyone. No eagles were at the nest last night, nor this morning. Going to post a pics of the nest. We'll know if we've had a visit if sticks are moved. The sub adult has been moving some when it visits the nest.

7:05 am Another pretty day in Big Bear.

Checked the roll back just for fun. Around 3:25 am a little squirrel was on the nest. You can see its two glowing eyes in the IR lighting.

This beautiful sub-adult continues to visit the Big Bear nest. Today h/s (thought to be a female) was on from 11:03 am- 11:26 am when she flew off. The other day she vIsited and Stormy came home and found her in his bedroom and he proceeded to chase her off.

Well Stormy decided to make an appearnce tonight and looks like he might stay the night on Mom’s branch. I read Mom was there too but didn’t rollback that far.
