Langdale Creek Bald Eagles, Sunshine Coast, BC - 2021-2023 seasons
Re: Langdale Creek Bald Eagles, Sunshine Coast, BC - 2020/22 season
On the ferry yesterday morning (Mar 7 08.40) for the first time in a while and saw Ma and Pa sitting on top of their usual radio tower on the upper loading ramp. They were quite happy watching as the cars drove past. A lot of calling out so perhaps there were some other eagles nearby. I was driving so couldn't look too closely!

Langdale eagle couple seen while waiting for ferry Nov 2022. Female on structure rail for second ferry to load and unload. Called, then flew to rail on cell tower. Joined by male and sat while ferry came in, cars loaded. Still don’t know where they are nesting. Will follow if we find a nest.

Langdale eagles were spotted on the tower early January 2023.

We were at the ferry terminal Feb 15/23 to find 1 eagle on the cell tower, Pa I think. Today David took the ferry and found both eagles on the tower. No sign of nesting there. I think they may get some tidbits in the water that the ferry may churn up entering and leaving the dock.
