Re: Pitt River Bridge 2019/2020
This is the Pitt River eagles nest.
One parent and I think it is Pa, is in the nest sitting on at least one eaglet.
This parent has been in the nest for almost an hour. The nest is so deep and the parent is lying so flat that it was impossible to see the parent in the nest. It was a lovely warm day. That little eaglet must be still very young.
I have not seen it yet.
Sitting above the nest for almost an hour is what must be ma because this eagle is nice plump and round.

This is what the eagles see when they are in their nest.
You can't have a better view.
Finally Parent in nest got up and fed the little one or should I say little ones
Time will tell.
I just noticed that this was a very long feeding. I did not look at the clock but it seemed to last at least 15 minutes.
Parent stayed at the same position the whole time while feeding. The other parent sat above the nest watching.
