Do you think your couple is brooding yet or just trying things out for size?
I was there around 3:00 on Monday the 18th. We only saw the male perched in the tree near the nest. No calling nor sightings of Ma.
Nest looks good. No sign of low down brooding on zooming in on the nest. Male in relation to nest from the far side of the nest, along Stalashen Rd. The brown rim of the male's tail likely indicates that he is a new adult. I went back to check on former pictures of the new male. One in November shows his tail whiter than this one, no brown edging.

Thi evening, after I got home from being out all day, I saw one in the nest it wasn't sitting high. We'll have to wait and see Sandra as I haven't been able to watch the nest through the telescope as often as I usually do. Not a very clear picture but I assure you it was there (near the trunk).

Through the telescope.
Yesterday, I was lucky to see a shift change one flew out and the other flew in and settled on the nest.

Nice seeing you here Heather! I was out on April 1 looking for white heads in our nests. The only one I found at the nests I visited was here! I knew it should be thanks to your telescope report Marg.
As seen from the mailbox corner. More than half way from the nest tree to Port Stalashen at the end of the road. I was hoping to see the white head from the beach as I get good pics of the kidlets from there. Not to be.
The nest looks good though. No sign of the other eagle. A nice peaceful visit around 3:00 pm.

Thank you for your post heatherj.
We have witnessed a few of what we believe are feedings but cannot see any eaglet/s yet from our telescope.

I got to check on this nest last Wed, the 15th. Found Pa perched on our former Pa's favourite perch branch near the nest but my goodness, how dirty he looks! I'm only assuming he is the same eagle I've been taking pictures of and not another new male.
Nice and close to Ma in the nest with 1 possibly 2 youngsters. Grey head in front of Ma! Can click pictures bigger x 2.
Ma picked up a piece of food but this youngster does not seem interested. No calling for food from the nest. Can see the eaglet if you look carefully.
Preparing to move to my left side of the nest.
Getting into feeding position away from the other eaglet.
Going deep to feed. No calling by an eaglet.
Road under the nest.
