Thanks for posting the notice about the embedded cam being down, Heather - I've now restarted the stream. It took more than the usual simple refresh of the stream to get it started, so I decided to also reboot the cam, which sometimes helps it run more smoothly. Unfortunately the extra steps restarted the dvr, but it looks as if most of the activity before it froze had been covered. It was one of the tricky ones - I try to glance at the laptop that's streaming the cam from time to time, and notice if there's an error message or a black screen - but this time it froze with a picture of Dimple incubating, so when I gave it a quick look, I didn't realize it had frozen.

Dimple took a quick break from about 10:29 to 10:43 am. She's now back and incubating the eggs.

Sorry to hear you're having computer problems, Bev.

Checking the dvr....

Dimple was away from the nest from 2:36 to 2:45 pm.

She then incubated the eggs until 3:28 pm, and then was gone until 3:52 pm.

She stayed on the eggs for about 2 hours before leaving at 5:50 pm.


It's now 6:07 pm, and she's still on break. I'm hoping she's having a nice meal.


I probably won't be able to be online much tomorrow until mid afternoon - we have some family projects that we'll be focused on.

Have a good evening, everyone, and I'll check in when I can tomorrow.
