1:25pm - Eagle is still there. Nearly an hour now.

I do not know why the post is suddenly saying "not view yet". It did not do that before.
I don't know either Gail.. that happens to be sometimes also ..

Hi all  Thanks for the updates, Bev, Darlene, and Gail, and exciting to know the eagle[s] are around - even if not coming too close!

Will sign in and take a peek around on the SPTZ......

3:19pm I was hoping that adult had returned to the perch to the right of the lone tree...but, no LOL
Untitled 3674.jpg
I had a little look around the nest - the sun is shining on the cam lens right now so can't really take a good look...

3:55pm It's very, very quiet out there...

It has been absolutely silent for the last hour! Nothing seen or heard and nothing to report...
Untitled 3677.jpg
I'll put the SPTZ back on the nest and just have a quick look at the flats by the lone tree..but I would be surprised to see eagles out there...

Off the SPTZ

On the NPTZ and heard trilling at 4:35pm - can't see an eagle, though...

Hi Heather - think we were posting at the same time and I heard that too - so we know there's one eagle in the neighbourhood.... :)

I must go, and the NPTZ is back on the nest...

7:30 I just took a good look around on the south cam and there was no sight or sound of eagles. Since they haven't been coming to the nest, I will leave the cam pointing out on the course for a bit.

9:11 I took another look around and there was no sight or sound of eagles except possibly on that perch in the tree tops to the right of the lone tree. It's too overcast to tell for sure.

Good afternoon everyone! And thank-you for the updates Bev and Darlene - seems like another quiet day at the nest .....

Will sign in and have a look around on the SPTZ.

ADD: 3:17pm I haven't seen or heard anything at all - it's not raining right now and the visibility is not too bad. There is a little bit of haze or smoke drifting around in the area of the lone tree..
Untitled 3687.jpg
The snow is gradually melting away...but any shady areas still have lots of the white stuff...
Untitled 3683.jpg
There are no eagles perched at the river view...and nothing in the trees to the right of the lone tree.
Untitled 3688.jpg
ADD: 3:42pm Nothing to report! No sign of eagles .....

I have some chores to get to -will try to BBL :luck: Quiet day, for sure!

Off the SPTZ I put the cam back on the nest..

4:04pm - I will take a look around on the SPTZ, although it sounds like a very quiet day at Harrison Mills.

4:31pm - I do not see any eagles at all. The Mom and Dad perch and tree near the nest if empty and quiet.
Screenshot_1635.jpg
Lone tree is empty, also.
Screenshot_1636.jpg
4:38pm - I am signing off now. Eagles are not visible at this time....maybe later?
Thanks to all for the scaps and zooms today.

Hi Gail , This afternoon/evening I have been watching and listening when I could . It sure would be helpful if we were able to check out the neighboring nests to see what the other eagles are up to.

Hi Bev , Yes I too am keeping fingers crossed. The weather people say we are in for a cold spring maybe the eagles sense that. It is definitely dark now. Goodnight HM and all 6:34 pm Mar 2
