I came back but will have to leave again, I heard loud trills .. one eagle close by......I hopped on the N PTZ cam and checked Mom's perch and it was empty

I did also Heather two eagles .. not close but not far either...LO)L
I hopped on the NPTZ and check the usual perches ..... incl. the ones close to nest .. can't find an eagle/.

434pm All quiet - I haven't seen or heard anything...

Nothing on Mom's perch or the lone tree..or at the river view.

Hi again..

Gail was wondering about this object to the right of the trees at the river view. I don't know for sure, Gail - but my guess is that it's a log which has escaped from a log boom and settled or lodged there on the sandbar. I have seen log booms go by there on the PTZ cams. Nice perch for an eagle.

Seems an adult has appeared in the tree tops to the right of the lone tree ...not sure.

I checked the river view and didn't see another eagle perched there...

Hi Yolande..I was watching you zoom ... it looks like an eagle perch in the tre eto the right of the lone tree and I agree about the log in the water ..
It is staying bright longer now on H Mills...... have to check another nest and I will peek in her later.. I will keep the cams up..

I think it's an eagle, too, Bev! But, it isn't moving much - maybe waiting for someone to join it?

5:49pm The eagle in the treetop has been preening - just saw a nice fan-tail!

The eagle flew about 5:53pm - just after another eagle flew past the lone tree going from right to left.

6:13pm All is quiet - I don't hear eagles, and none are perched close to Mom and Dad's perch that I can see..the days are getting longer!

I am off the SPTZ

ADD: Knowing there was an adult so close to the nest last night was very encouraging - I, too, was hoping we'd see another close up today, Bev! Maybe tomorrow....

It's Mom doing some nice stretches on the BSB last year - she is gorgeous, isn't she!
