Good afternoon Bev and Yolande . Thank you Bev for the info .l checked the dvr and didn't see any change in the nest or visits. Reflecting on your comment about Dad migrating Bev, I was reading last years posts and Dad didn't come back to the nest until 23rd of Aug , but the cams were up and down a lot. What caught my eye is there was a lone feather on the nest last year too :mihihi: Need a feather emoji  If you don't mind Bev I took a scap of your scap . I have one dated Aug 18 th 2019 but not today's lol

Hi everyone .. I think it is safe to say that Dad and Lady have started their migration :) Lady was last seen August 4 and Dad Aug,12.

I have been fooled before .. time will tell :)

I really don’t know where to start .. Oct.6 Dad and Lady did a lot of work on their nest immediately .. .. they did mate but it seemed Lady wasn’t ready to lay eggs… then on Feb .27 Female Visitor showed up on the nest.. Dad accepted her .. they both worked on the nest.. there were attempted matings and Visitor refused.. then on April 14 Lady was back on the nest and by this time it was too late for eggs … they both worked on the nest and it is in top top shape for the coming season..

We all have high hopes for chicks in 2020

All that being said we have a wonderful team here documenting this nest and we are all needed and appreciated to zoom , post s’caps , videos, comments and observations for David’s research .

We are all volunteers here and give freely of our time ..

A Huge Thank You to Yolande , Heather, Baita , Judy B , Darlene, Marianne ,Philjo , Anne , Nana2 , Nana 8 ,Marg and I hope I didn’t miss anyone … if I did please let me know and I will be happy to add you … Big Hugs to all .. you are the best

I don't often do this but Special Thanks to you Yolande and Heather who continued to document this nest despite the fact we didn't have chicks this season
:huggie: :ty:

Special thanks to Judy B for all you do all over this forum and to Ken for keeping the cams streaming .. :ty:

Please check here for all updates... I wouldn't have been able to do this without all of you and your dedication and documentation of this nest .... :ty:

viewtopic.php?p=98964#p98964

Now this is the hard part ... We lost one of our wonderful friends this season Gail Morris .. she was not only a friend to all but a dedicated observer , poster and zoomer.. we miss you Gail :cry1: :brknhrt: :grhug: Ever Remembered ..

Thanks Bev for your summary and the special tribute to Gail. She was a wonderful volunteer on this nest and other nests that she observed. Miss her here. :(
Although I didn’t participate here much this season, I still followed the nest and have high hopes for the upcoming season. Special thanks to you for all you do here and all your other nests. I echo your thanks to all those you mentioned in your post. It does take a village to continually monitor one of these nests :grhug: Goodnight everyone and Dad and Lady wherever you are vacationing.

Thank you Bev :rh: and hope you are getting some well deserved rest/sleep. :huggie: Hi Marianne, Thank you ! I am at a loss for words tonight. Hopefully by morning my tongue will untie. I just refocused the SPTZ and unsurprisingly no visits tonight. :(
Goodnight Bev, Yolande , Marianne and all. Goodnight HM , Dad and Lady D. :grhug: 10:04 pm Aug 17
