Both cams are on the nest

12:21p..Of the SPTZ Cam and out!

'It is a beautiful day on H Mills albeit windy ..but not as windy as yesterday!

All the visiting eagles have returned to their own nests and territories ...just the D's and some local eagles are around .THis is a big area and there are Eagle pairs nesting close by !

I am thinking Dad and Lady D are over the other side of the river ..maybe there is fish there on the shore line JMO

Hi again - thanks for the zoom and updates, Bev. Quiet afternoon!

I have an hour and will look around on the SPTZ. If someone would like the cam, please let me know...

I checked the nest tree branches, Dad's perch area and the trees on either side of the lone tree...no eagles. But, there are two adults way out on the flats beyond the lone tree and I wonder if it's the D's?

One just flew off to the left..

Followed a minute later by the second adult..

Sorry about the blur - they were quite far away...

ADD: they both flew in the direction of the flats at Mom's perch - but I can't find them out there if - that's in fact, where they went.

And here's an adult out on the flats to the right of the lone tree! I don't know if one of those two adults circled around and came back, or if it's a different eagle altogether..

It must be one of those two eagles that flew - this is likely the second one way out on the flats..

ADD: 3:57pm both adults are still there [and quite far apart..lol]

ADD: Unfortunately, the adult closer in flew off while I was posting...

Neither adult is on the flats now and I missed the eagle farther out flying off - so don't have any idea of which way they went. But they aren't at Dad's perch...and I wasn't able to spot them out on the flats at Mom's perch. A mystery..lol

The wind is still blowing, but it looks pretty clear this afternoon...

I'll put the cam on the nest - hoping they will pop in later..
