Morning and thanks, Marg and Heather...the nest looks a bit of a soggy mess and happy there is now that reinforcing rubber mesh installed! The nest must weigh a ton after a lot of rain.....!

Looks like the rain will continue on and off today and for the next several days...

Hoping Bev will have power restored soon ...... :luck:

Will check the perches and the flats...

I had a good look around - no eagles that I saw...[no gulls either, which, to me, is a sign there is nothing to eat out on the flats!]

No change at 12:09pm - no nest visits that I could see on the DVR.

No eagles on the flats that I can see...there are lots of ducks/geese? in the shallow water beyond Mom's perch..

The flats look so bare... Guess there will be flying and hopping out there soon enough!

12:27pm Cam is on the nest.... :bye 1:

Thank you Yolande for the zooming and scaps of HM. I watched most of your zooming saw a large bird flying from left to right on left side of the Lone tree :) 11:18: 19 am Sept 9

Hi Heather - thanks for checking! I wonder if your bird was the jay?

I looked back to Heather's post and - no nest visits.

Will take a look at the flats just for a few minutes...

ADD: I didn't see much activity on the flats - a few ducks in the water and some birds [crows?] perched on the logs..
Untitled 41784 (2).jpg
And perhaps one of 'our' jays flying by at Dad's perch ..
