Thank you Judy. I might go on the cams a little later if I get the chance .

Not sure it helped, the cams have gone off recently and come back again at 3.50am
Dawn and Dusk are busy preening.

Drat! It's now about 5:30 am, and I see the rollback is only going back an hour, so at least one of the outages was long enough to reset that.Cheryldavis wrote: ↑Wed May 23, 2018 3:53 amNot sure it helped, the cams have gone off recently and come back again at 3.50am
Do you know if the zoomer cams go down too? Trying to figure if the issue is onsite or somewhere in the process that gets the signal to YouTube. And Jean may have already told me that - will check my messages from her. Must admit that between the cam issues here and those at Harrison Mills, I'm getting very frustrated. And I think White Rock is also having some issues, though I haven't been following those as closely since they don't have eggs or chicks this year. The good news is that the cams seem fine - as long as both cams go down at the same time, the issue is almost certainly at ground level, somewhere past the point where the cables from the cams reach the first computer or whatever - so we can fix it, once we figure what to fix. That's true at both D2 and HM.
5:40 am
One is chewing on an old wing
And I just missed some nice flapping by the other, standing on his/her "adult" feet
And I just saw something fly by - perhaps one of the adults in pursuit of breakfast.

Finally caught one of the big flaps!
Unfortunately the next round of flaps ended up bopping the eaglet who was dozing with the feather - and who didn't like being hit on the head with a wing - and said so!
5:55 pm
Adult just arrived and both chicks are peeping, but they aren't rushing over so I don't think there's food.

Looks as if the adult is finding some bites on a nestover.
The chick nearer the cam has had a few bites - haven't seen any to the one in back yet.
5:59 pm
Adult stepped back to offer a bite to the chick in back, which quickly grabbed it. Chick in back also grabbed a bigger piece from the adult and has been picking at it but not getting anything - and is pretty assertive at taking food from the adult.
Adult appears to be standing strongly on both feet and moving freely on them - I know Mom is doing better, but am not sure she's that much better, so this might be Dad. Whoever it is, they're looking around a lot, perhaps hoping the other adult had better luck looking for food.
Adult is finding more to feed, and the one in back is getting more now. One in back seems to have less downy feathers sticking up, so may be Dusk, the older chick - though I don't watch here enough to know.

Feeding is continuing - there must have been more stuff on the nestover than I realized. Chicks are lying down while being fed now, and one in back is getting more now (was doing something else so not sure what closer chick has gotten, but I'd think it would be standing up if it was seriously hungry).

Good morning Delta2 Family. All is quiet on the nest. Another glorious day with a light breeze. Dusk and Dawn are laying down waiting for breakfast to be delivered. Have a great day.

Thanks, Cheryl - no rush. I haven't noticed the embedded cams freeze since I started watching above, though I'm doing other things and not watching all the time - which is why I missed the departure of the adult.Cheryldavis wrote: ↑Wed May 23, 2018 6:18 amSorry Judy I had to go out Will check the cams in a minute

Chicks are napping in the sun. I'm going to be away from the computer for a few minutes.

One is on the evergreen probably PA as that is his usual spot, and one out by the Delta pole.

7.19 am I have logged off the cams, they went down on the forum and then froze and were sluggish to respond, so thought it best to come off them
