Delta2 2017 - 2018 Observation and Discussion Thread

7:54pm...........Ma came flying into the nest carrying a fish..........followed by Pa who had another fish.

7:55pm..........Ma left the nest after the eaglets lurched at her. Pa is here now feeding them. Dusk is becoming an aggressive eater, which is good...........snatching pieces and not relying on Pa.

Cams are offline again for the second time, but back very quickly. Now gone again and taking time to come back......not there yet.

8:07pm...........Cams came back, then went off again. Saw Dusk still self feeding while Dawn seemed to be waiting for Pa to offer food.

8:21pm......I've missed a lot due to cams down and phone calls..............Dusk was done eating and had gone to the side of the nest. Then Pa left the nest and went upwards.............Ma, I think, came to the nest next and enjoyed the fish too.

8:24pm........Ma ate some more, then left the nest.

8:36pm.......Can't keep up with them and cams going off too! Pa came back to the nest for a bit to clean up, then flew out to the evergreen trees.

8:37pm.......Pa flew to the evergreen trees while Ma stayed in the tree for a few minutes.

8:48pm..........Searched and searched for Ma, but couldn't find her. She could be up in the tree and the cams only see parts of the tree. Nice sunset though.

8:56pm.......Another sun sets over Delta.

8:58pm...........Dusk and Dawn are out like a light.

9;09pm............Ma is here now on the low branch..............Just realized the embedded cams are running about 7 minutes behind the zoomers now. That is because the embedded cams keep stalling, getting that spinning circle. Pa is gone from the trees but I have to wait for the embedded cams to catch up to get a s'cap of his leaving.

9:13pm............It is impossible to wait 7 more minutes to get a s'cap of Pa leaving the trees, so I am not going to try any more. The embedded cams keep spinning, which delays them all the more!

Ma will soon come to the nest from the low branch. Dusk and Dawn are sleeping.

I am now OFF both cams.

9.23 pm Ma on her branch, Eaglets safe in the nest. SED Jean.

Cams are still playing up.

10pm Ma came back, dug around the eaglets and then settled in.

Dusk got up, stretched, flapped and then went up against MA.
