2:23pm...........Hi Sue and Bonnie! Sure looks like Ma is gone................AME is sticking around until he feels things are secure, or else he thinks Ma might come back. Maybe with a few eagles still around he wants to make sure no one thinks this nest and territory are up for grabs! Good job AME!

Finally found my notes for the end of last year..........We were seeing adults on the poles on July 31st but after that there was a big issue with the cams and they were offline a lot so that is the last I have confirmed for the adults being around. The eaglets of that year, Spirit and Jewel hung around longer than the adults but left a few days later.

AME on the middle tower.

I think so too Jean.. Good for AME "locking the door". Thanks for the recap.. I didn't remember eaglets still here last year after Ma and Pa left.

I have to admit I feel a bit bad for him, left all by himself; he's not even seeking a shady spot but sitting in the hot sun for so long. :(

Hi Rose.. I do too, but have a good feeling about him... Ma chose him, and he's doing what he needs to. Anxious for spring.. he and Ma back

Don't forget Bonnie and Rose, we will see our adult return long before spring! Maybe early October or so.

IN on both cams.

Hi Jean!
4:08 pm - AME was still on the center tower. Looks like the viewer cams have been down since just after this time. I have reported on the tech thread.

4:31pm...........I was here long enough to see AME on the tower, but then the cams began to sputter and went off. They have been down for 20 minutes now and still are not back on.

Thank goodness I did get the E cam back to the nest.........W cam still aimed at AME.

I am OFF both cams.

If any zoomers are around and see the cams back we may want to think about putting the W cam back on the nest too, because of the sun.

Thanks Sue..............cams are still off and I'm thankful you reported them.

Sue, I added to your post on the tech thread..........my error, it is the W cam aimed at the pole with AME on it, not the E cam.

oh yes, I know a short window of time to do cam cleaning, etc before they return. Anxious for cleaning and eagles return... and not all eagles even gone yet. :)
