11:40 am - he moved over behind the crossbars, I guess to get out of the sun but it's very difficult to see him there.

Ken just called me to say the embedded website cams will be down for awhile. He ran into issues with the wowza server and had to take it home to work on it.

12:06 pm - I did a quick look around the area and did not find any other eagles. This is the only one out there inside the first tower.

Jean, I know this is normally your time on the cams so if you would like to take over please do so. I can always come back later.

12:26 pm - I think AME is enjoying the company, although he may not even be able to think with all the little birdie chattering going on around him. Thank you little birdies for keeping AME company. I was feeling sorry for him being there all alone.

Look at the little brave one that appears to be sitting next to AME.

1:22 pm - I just took another look around the area and found no other eagles perched on any poles, towers, or trees, including both neighbors' territories. AME is the only eagle that I could see.

2:20 pm - If there are any available zoomers that would like to take the cams please let me know. It's dinnertime here. I can keep the cams up but won't be able to keep a close eye on them. AME is still the only eagle out there, after checking around the territory again.

3:05 pm - I just noticed that the viewer cams are now up. They've been up for about 30 minutes. Thanks Ken! AME is still on the first tower now with lots of his little birdie friends back. I'm keeping the cams up but still working on dinner. If anyone is around please post if you see AME leave. Thanks! Also if there is an available zoomer please feel free to take the cams.

3:17pm......Wonder what AME thinks about all this? Protecting the nesting territory for the future? Waiting for Ma to come back? Not sure he should leave soon? :chin:

Maybe AME thinks he must stay if there is still a neighbor around their tower.

4:15pm.........I imagine that with this heat an eagle would want to conserve its energy.........and perching up here would be a nice place to catch the breeze from the water.

AME has not moved off the tower. Not seeing any other eagles around.

I can stay for about 15 more minutes then will be putting the cams on the nest due to the sun.

Hi Judy and Karen! Judy, I noticed the embedded cams came up while I was zooming earlier but forgot to post it on the tech thread. Karen, I saw that article on Facebook earlier today. What a shame that someone would try to cut that tree down so much so that it had to be taken down. Those poor eagles and eaglets.

5:26 pm - AME still on the first tower, and the 2nd neighbor is still on the power tower behind the evergreens.
