Okay Jean, I won't post too much.

12:13 pm - this is the earliest I could find a tape on. Pa in and it looks like a duck, I think. He was feeding both of them at the beginning.

Here's a s'cap of how I identified it as a duck. Dusk wasn't too happy as Pa had started to slow down on handing out bites so s/he nipped Pa's beak.

Thanks Sue! I see the feet in your s'cap............so yes, it was a duck!

12:20 pm - from the rollback - Dusk and Dawn thought Pa was done feeding them so they both walked away
2018-05-31 15_58_56-Greenshot.jpg
12:29 pm - but Pa was back to feeding again

Dusk was done and now it's Dawn's turn

12:38 pm - from the rollback - Dusk and Dawn both looking over at Pa to see if that's it for them.

Guess so as they both go and lay down together

That's all I had from the YT tapes Jean. Both eaglets got quite a bit from this meal, and Pa too.

Jean, I just found the first YT tape showing Pa coming in with the duck. It was at 11:42 am. Here's a couple s'caps from that tape showing the duck.

1:20 pm - 3:02 pm - from the rollback - Dusk & Dawn have been mostly in the same place during this time. Both sat up at one point, and one did stretch a little, but other than that they have been laying down in the same spot together.

2:18 pm - this was Dawn doing some wingers

3:38pm..........Dawn grabbed a chunk of something in the nest, moved it around........then Dusk got hold of it and placed it at the other side.

2.JPG
Dusk was surprised to see the clump stand on end when his/her talons got a hold of it.
