7:06 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am logging into the cam.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:12 am - I am assuming this is one of the adults (left arrow), and one eaglet (right arrow) at the Tower eagles' tower.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:15 am - so hard to see the Tower eagles' tower from such a distance...really have to pay attention...and squint a lot! In any case, the 2nd adult came flying in from the left and landed in the nest area, next to their eaglet (thought I saw two at one point but couldn't confirm).....
The adult that was on the left side of the tower flew over and landed on the nest next to their mate and eaglet
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:21 am - hard to see here but this is one of the adults flying off to the left....I did not follow them. Their mate and one eaglet remain on the nest
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:29 am - the Tower eagle mate flew off to the left....one eaglet seen on the nest....I followed the adult over to the left, they passed by their left pole and swooped downward and then to the right, seeming to land behind a building near some horses.
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
7:35 am - I had kept the cam on where the adult had gone down for a while but didn't see them come out....I could have missed them, or maybe they were eating a meal behind the building. By the time I got back to the Tower eagles' tower, one of the adults was back and the eaglet was over on the right side of the nest
7:46 am - I took the cam back over to the left to see if I could find the tower adult and did come across what could be an eagle on this tower to the left of their left pole......I have included a 2nd arrow, on the left side of the s'cap. This is the building where the adult went behind.

7:48 am - checking in on the Power Tower pair over in the east field area.....one of the adults is up on top of the tower....they remain there at 7:58 am.
Someone on this tower just over to the right from the Power Tower
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
8:40 am - no additional activity. I did not see our pair this morning. I am now off the cam. Everyone have a great day!
Re: Delta2 2022 - 2023 Observation and Discussion Forum
I decided to go back and watch some of the Tower eagle rollback from this morning since Roseann had mentioned that she also is having issues seeing if there are one or two eaglets. As they grow it seems it is a little easier for me to see the them on the tower in the morning....at times. Anyway, I went back and at 7:25 am, after the first adult had already flown off the nest, the 2nd adult had flown over to the left side of the tower and shortly after it appeared that there were two eaglets on the nest. I went back through the rollback several times to see if maybe I missed the other adult coming back to the nest but I did not see them do so....and the two that are shown in this s'cap on the nest appear to be about the same size....not one bigger than the other like when an adult is side by side with one of the eaglets. So......I think we do have two eaglets here still.

Thanks for watching and capturing that Sue... it really does look like 2 eaglets in the nest in the last scap.SueB wrote: ↑Sun May 28, 2023 9:44 amI decided to go back and watch some of the Tower eagle rollback from this morning since Roseann had mentioned that she also is having issues seeing if there are one or two eaglets. 3:08pm glad to note that it does looks like two eaglets standing side-by-side, roughly the same height, on the tower eagles' nest... one adult appears to be on a spike as well.
