I need to check dvr - it's possible DM was on one of the perches (eye looked darker and feet looked different) - I am not good at zooming and posting. And I'm not used to the controls on this cam.

Flew off at 8:53 or thereabouts. I'm out of the cam and think it's back on day patrol.

Added - confirmed cam is on patrol. There's still some food in the nest, so one of them might be back. :luck:

So exciting to finally see someone there - and happy I was at my computer when it happened!

Need to step away for a few minutes - back in a while.

What a great day for Delta2! Glad you were here to catch that visit, Judy. I really enjoyed watching the rollback and seeing that Eagle checking out that nest, almost like, "this isn't bad at all."

Cannot wait for the D2 experts to weigh in on an ID of that Eagle.

Great job catching the adult’s visit Judy! Sorry I can’t be on the cams right now….not enough internet connection but was able to listen in on when the adult landed and vocalized and that sure did sound like Ma’s vocals. I thought I also heard a 2nd vocal at that time so maybe that was DM. I’m sure Rose would be able to confirm ID’s since she’s been more active with both Ma and DM over the last year.

So great to see an eagle in the new nest. Hoping they come back and stay for a while.

It's not part of my tradition, but I believe Boxing Day is the day after Christmas, and is a traditional day to give gifts in some cultures and/or parts of the world.

This was definitely a wonderful gift!

10:31am.......Wonderful news everyone! Looks and sounds like Ma to me. She was really eyeing the nest this morning after her meal. I am guessing we shall see DM soon too. :luck:

Happy news, glad to know she is safe after her migration.

What a gift indeed! You called it, Linux! So exciting and keeping my fingers crossed that they keep checking it out and make the decision to stay at this nest. I am heading out around the area soon so will check out the nest they have at the tower.
