12:09pm logging off the cams.

Saw both our pair; one on top of the far right pole and one that was hunting below there.

East cam back on day patrol.

4:23pm looks like both tower eagles are at their smaller right tower.

4:27pm could be an AE inside the far right tower... hard to make out.

I was so pleased to see the great pics from RoseA and AP. I hadn’t posted for a while as I felt I was confusing things. Even being able to see the nest starting to be built, my view from the road by the field did not allow me the great views that the pics did. I drove home from North Delta this afternoon along the back way - the Boundary Bay airport and the farms. Am still amazed at how few eagles I saw along the way - sooooo different from the past few years. I did see the tower eagles both home but no signs of our pair. This was about 3:15 or so.

5:38 pm - the great horned owl came to perch on camera....she/he seemed to be perched elsewhere in the nest area as when they took off and landed on this perch the cam shook pretty hard, so I think she/he may have been on the East cam support then landed on the West cam support side. The owl remains on this perch now at 6:14 pm, hooting away.

6:29pm rollback (last night) the owl moved from where Sue saw them. I couldn't see them for awhile but they kept hooting.

7:04pm they reappeared but a little further over.

7:45pm they had gone again... this time didn't hear them.

8:18 am- Good Morning Delta 2! I am going to log into the cams.

From the rollback - at 9:14 pm last night the Owl appeared on this Old Old Nest tree branch

at 9:22 pm last night the owl had moved back to the other side of the nest a little further out on a branch

Then later on the owl moved in a little closer but harder for us to see. He stayed in this spot until around 11:24 pm last night.

Good Morning Muriel! I wanted to thank you for that early report you had of the nest being built at the center tower. Of course I didn't realize at the time that the center tower looked the same as the other towers they perch at. Funny how that could be, but glad you were there on the ground to let us know about the nest.

8:28 am - someone flew by the cam.....I didn't see it until I was checking the rollback....could be some sort of hawk
2022-11-22 11_29_15-Greenshot.jpg
Had the West cam shooting out toward the far right tower and tower eagle area and caught that hawk coming around that side of the nest tree....I only caught this on rollback so wasn't able to follow them.

8:48 am - it's really tough seeing anything out in the distance with the rain and fog.....I was not able to find anyone perched anywhere.

I am now off the cams. The East cam is on day patrol and will be moving around.

Just checking the rollback and looks like an adult was in the "old' nest tree (this is last year's nest tree)....from around 9:22 am until just before 9:38 am when they were no longer seen on that tree
