I've added a video of the visiting juvie flying off to my post from this morning - viewtopic.php?f=10&t=574&p=631370#p631370

Happy to see activity here, though I'd really prefer to see Ma and DM bring in a few sticks. Still - I'll take what we can get.

For some reason the eagle on the nest with the dark mark on top of head keeps nagging at me. Where have I seen this same marking on the head of this eagle..I know I have seen this distinctive marking before. Maybe last season perhaps and this eagle is back?

Its not one of Dm traits or markings that I can recall..but where oh where have I seen this eagle and when before here at Delta?

Would love others perspective as if they may recall an eagle here at Delta with the black spot mark on its head..

I think it's most likely a dark smudge as opposed to a permanent marking. But no, I wouldn't have expected that to be DM (who was the interloper leaving the nest).

Thank you Rose for you insight to my nagging ? in my head.

Hopefully Ma n Dm will make way to the nest again, keeping my fingers crossed and keeping postive thoughts they will eventurally
take root. Even though they still have the tower nest built.

Time will tell

Praying thoughts for our little youngster juvie last couple days that he has found a safe place to rest his soul tonight and he was able
to find food..
With the rain clearing now our nest would been a nice place to get a good nites rest..

Though we physically couldnt help him , only by watching him get some good rest and food at the welcome Inn nest gave us solitude
for the little youngster..

Sure he will be in all our minds as he goes through life and the will to survive.. :rh:

7:45 am - looks like we could have at least one adult in the previous nest tree.

7:57 am - the adults separated and can now see it was two adults on the previous tree. Looks like at least one of them may be thinking of flying off. They may not be there when the cam gets back around from its patrol.

Edit: both adults were gone the next time the patrol was on this tree at around 8:01 am.
