5:25pm they kept looking up so I wonder if their mate is up the tree.

5:28pm I guess the mate was not up the tree as they came flying in here...

[RoseA]

5:28pm a stick struggle began immediately after.

[RoseA]

5:39 pm going to login to the cams.

[RoseA]

5:32pm Ma to her perch.

5:34pm then Trooper leaves the nest.

[RoseA]

5:41pm Ma flies from the nest... I assume that is her that I've caught flying around and away from the stick tree right after.

[RoseA]

5:42pm somebody arrives with a substantial branch and works at placing it.

[RoseA]

5:47pm off they fly again.

And here is where the new stick lies (for the moment anyway).

5:51pm someone lands back in the nest.

5:55pm meanwhile their mate is in the stick tree looking for a branch... then flies back to the nest.

[RoseA]

5:55pm back they come to the nest with their new branch and try to place it and struggle with their mate over placement.

Have these two ever been busy...

5:58pm one flies off the nest, followed by the other a minute later.

[RoseA]

6:14pm not their last visit to the nest before bed though... both arrive back with night vision now on... one is trying out the nest bowl, kicking their feet.

[RoseA]

6:18pm both adults fly from the nest again.

[RoseA]

6:18pm here comes one to the stick tree...

Followed almost immediately after by the other.

They settle into the area where their mate already went.

[RoseA]

6:19pm there was a little shuffling about but it seems Ma and Trooper finally decided they'd brought a sufficient amount of branches into the nest and settled down for the night (in area circled).
