7:33 am could see Ma flapping wings and then flew from the stick tree. Trooper lies down in the nest bowl. Wow...that wind!

7:36 am now both Ma and Trooper are in the nest. Trooper is peeking over Ma's back.

7:48 am Ma quickly flies after Trooper. One of them are flying toward the evergreen and around about the sky.

7:48 am more of the fly by of the evergreen. Either Ma or Trooper flew off behind the evergreen trees.
8:05 am logging off both cams. With the wind blowing so fiercely, it is difficult to control the cams. I am sure Ma and Trooper are finding a nice row of trees to tuck into away from the wind. They got this! But stay safe, Ma and Trooper.

9:30 am logging into both cams to do a quick check on Ma and Trooper. Didn't see any nest visits since last post.
9:37 am logging off both cams. The wind makes using the cam difficult. Was able to at least see that Ma or Trooper are note at any of the poles or towers. Yup, they have found a better place to rest against the wind.

Good afternoon Delta2 friends! Thanks Philippe and Sandy for your posts today! We seem to have survived the overnight storm, but there were power outages in many places. It is still very windy out there today. This weather system is very strong and done with us yet.

Holy cow, it is so windy out there!!
I will take a few minutes to check the rollback before moving the cams.
ADDED: Checked the rollback and did not see any eagles in the nest at all. They are likely sheltered somewhere.

12:41pm......Something is not right with the W embedded cam. It is frozen and incorrect time......I have reported it. Checking it later shows it streaming but about a half hour behind.

12:59pm..........Found Ma and Trooper........one in the stick tree, it flew out or up, hard to tell with the cams bouncing. Then found one in the lower part of the evergreen tree.......then both flying around, now both back in the stick tree. Trying to find the least windy place to perch but that is impossible right now.
I'm having so much trouble posting right now. If I cannot get back here know that our eagles are safe and in the stick tree at this time.

1:03pm........This is where they seem to be staying. Wish there was a more sheltered spot for them but they've likely been looking for that too.
It is far too windy to try and stay on the cams. Ma and Trooper are fine at this time. Hope this storm lets up soon.

1:40 pm in rollback, Trooper flies around the nest tree and comes in over the top of Ma. They both start digging in the nest.
