correction on my post earlier:

I misread the article posted and thought JudyB had found our eagle at the bottom of the nest, I misread and after rereading the full report reposted I stand corrected and thank David H. for going to the nest and finding our younster eagle at the bottom where he had passed on ..

He is Free and upon flying across the rainbow bridge he will soar in the Heavens for all his eternity, Free and wild to roam.. :rh:

Hi Linux, especially hard for Judy to check the D2 location in person since she's in midcoast Maine.

I checked the rollback for the afternoon and did not see anyone on the nest or nearby trees, except for one small bird. I did see both Tower eagles were at their tower around 2:20 pm and may have been there off and on as well, until just recently where one or both were on the nest. I think one could have been lower down on the tower. Hard to tell as this tower is at such a distance.

Goodnight/ morning everyone, Bonjour Delta2

12-30-2022

What sad news i just read here this morning for me
i hoped so much for this juvie but i'm sure it was suffering, now that's finished..... :brknhrt:

some years ago i remember an adult one sleeping 4 following nights inside the Trio nest, it seeemed to be good enought. arriving at night when the 3 adults were perched farther and leaving early in the morning just before their arrival... I don't know what happened to it after that....

:( :cry1: :cryhanky:

Poor little one, at least it had some last good meals in a safety place where it was in this new nest and before leaving it

May be when i noticed it it was already gone far away on its way to the other marvellous world. Rest in peace, fly high, freely with always a full crop and now you can jump all your force as you have re find your two feet now.. RIP, i will post a message on the " In Memoriam" as you deserve it like all the previous ones. Take care my friend. Do not forget us as we will never forgopt your short passage in our lives... and you will stay forever in our hearts.

Oh, dear... This is such sad news and there isn't much left to say about the Juvie's passing. I think of this young bird as a little boy off to seek some fun, safety and good food in the next world. Say hello, little one, and greet all of our own dear ones waiting for you.

I just got back. It is so sad to hear about the juvie. I glad it got some food and respite from the weather. How great to hear some AEs brought some food for the little one.
It is great to hear there is positive ID on Ma and DM. I wonder who the other pair are? I hope they don't fight over the territory.
