10:05 am - Ma to the back of the nest and then up to the branch....bad lighting and very windy....cam hesitating...hard to get a close up of Ma's eye while she is also moving around.....Ma has that one mark on her right wing feather but I wasn't able to see it.

Good Morning Linux and CC! So happy you could be here when Ma first came to the nest!

10:09 am - Ma is windsurfing...holding on tight.

10:12 am - was just getting both of our eagles in the screen and then Ma flew off the branch....Trooper, as he seems to do at the beginning of the season, was hot on her tail!

10:13 am - guessed correctly as our eagles both went to the first tower...one landing up top and the other went down below

10:21 am - Our eagles remain on the first tower...the one on the lower level has moved out to the right a little.

Ma & Trooper seem to be spending this windy day together. I am going to bring the cam back to the nest as I need to go.

10:23 am - I am now off the cam. Please post if you are watching and see Ma and/or Trooper on the nest.

I just wanted to add a few more s'caps of Ma when she was on the nest.....Ma is looking great....nice and healthy....this is her on the right
2020-10-13 13_25_34-Greenshot.jpg
Trooper hard at work as Ma keeps an eye out. Again as I mentioned in one of my earlier posts....I did not see that one mark on Ma's right wing feather....maybe I just missed it but that was one thing Sandy said she could always see to ID her.

11:43 am: So happy to know both of our eagles are back from their summer adventures! Just looked through rollback & did not see any nest activity since the last zoomer. I am going to log into the cam now to take a quick look around. With the wind as strong as it is, not sure how long I can stay on.
It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.

11:56 am: Sorry, I cannot get the browser I need to use for the zoom cams to work. When I get it working properly, I will try to jump on, if someone else isn't already on.

Ma and Trooper home working on the nest, 11:53 am nest time.

So good to see them visiting today, especially in this wind.

Finally got on the cam, though I am having a difficult time operating it in this wind. I did find Ma & Trooper were on the nest. I am going to log off & log what I saw.

I tried to get close ups of the eagle on the nest, to make sure I was identifying them correctly, but had a really hard time to get the cam to zoom in properly.
2020-10-13 (5).png
12:11 pm: When trying to look around for Trooper, an eagle flew in front of the cam. I could not locate him afterwards.
2020-10-13 (14).png
Ma continued to look like she was windsurfing on the nest (but I wonder if this is Trooper, since Trooper doesn't like the wind). She left at 12:17 pm. I thought she jumped to a branch, but I couldn't find her.

12:46 pm oh what a wonderful morning to see both Ma and Trooper back in the nest. Welcome home to both of you! :rh:

Thanks so much, Jean, for the set up on the 2020-2021 thread. Always nice to read back on the information and history posted. And to all here this morning to catch the visits to the nest! :)

12:48 pm logging into the west cam for a look see. Not sure I will be able to see much with the weather but will take a look.
1:05 pm the weather is really windy but is clearing of the rainy conditions and clear skies are here. Made a couple of trips around and didn't see any birds. Logging off the west cam.

3;24 pm and the other eagle is at the first tower. Not sure but maybe leaning over and eating. Wasn't there when I first checked. The wind is breezy and hard to hold the cam still so pulling back.

3:36 pm oh wow, looks like the tower eagles are home, one up on the spike and one on the pole. I had not checked the tower as was watching Ma and Trooper. Edit: then checked the tower and the tower eagles had flown.
