Parent landed in the nest with looked like a rodent, and one of the Eaglets grabbed it.
Other Parent also came to the nest, but did not have anything.
Both Parents have now left the nest.

12:48pm............Sorry for the delay........phone call. Just as I was bringing the cams up an adult landed in the nest with small prey. The other adult came too and one of our eaglets grabbed it, swallowed it. Gone in a flash. Not enough time to tell what it was.

Hi Jean :bye 1:
I think it was a little bird or part of one as the eaglet that got it had feather sticking out after they downed it... (yes they could have scooped those up from the nest at the same time...). Looks like Hope got this little meal as well, so Hope has gotten the last three little meals (one last evening and two today)... hope Chase steps up quicker soon if something comes in.
[I say Hope, because in W cam view the eaglet with the white-tipped tail feathers, Chase, was the last to get up from the far-side of the nest, turn around, or get close, before the other eaglet got the food.]

1:12pm......Thought I'd recheck the rollback to see for sure who got that last meal.............looks like both eaglets now have white tips on the tail feathers............so not sure. I think maybe Chase still has a bit more white than Hope but the IDs are not as easy to tell now.

Still thinking Hope got it.

White on both tails. The eaglet on the right is who got the meal.

Good to know that since the white on Hope's isn't as clear to me. In the view before the food was dropped I could only see the tail feathers of one of the eaglets and clearly they had white on their tail... so assumed it was Chase and it was the other eaglet that got the meal. In the view below the one with the arrow got the meal.

2:33 pm in rollback, Ma comes to the nest and vocalizes as Trooper brings in a fish. Ma is quick to grab it.

2:44 am logging into the east cam to pull it back some to see what the eaglets are looking at. Won't stay long.

2:59 pm this could be an eagle at the first tower but hard to tell with the lighting. If so, could be Trooper at the first tower.

3:11 pm it is amazing how quickly these two can gobble down food now and taking such large bites. The meal is finished and Ma hops up to the long branch. Trooper flew from the nest right after he dropped off the fish.
