6:30 pm - I am logging into the E Cam to re-calibrate it. The cam may move in odd ways but will come back to the nest position shortly.

6:35 pm - I will take the cam around the area using the presets to see if the calibration fixed the positioning.

6:45 pm - No eagles seen during the look around the area. I am now off the cam.

Hi Philippe! As I am posting this the W Embedded Cam is offline but if it is back up when you check in I am hoping the blurriness has been corrected. For some reason, this time of year the focus gets off during the night after we have used our 'Home' preset before logging off. We have to try to remember to re-focus it before logging off, so hopefully this will help.

7:56 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am going to log into the cams for a look around.
8:18 am - this caught my eye as I was checking around by the school trees.....I'm not sure it's a bird but of course at first glance it looks like an adult eagle to me...lol (and I was so sure it was because I was thinking I was seeing a white tail too in the 1st s'cap)....this one stood way too still in strong winds to be any kind of bird so I assume it is part of the house....posting s'caps just in case another zoomer comes on later and can check it out.

Sue, I looked at that spot on the roof of the building and looks like now like part of the roofing, chimney maybe?

12:49 pm did a quick look around and didn't see any bird. It is really windy this afternoon. 12:50 pm logging off both cams.

1:44 pm both embedded cams are offline. Making a report. Judy said there is a power outage. Hopefully it will be back soon.

Thanks, Sandy!

I checked the map, and the power outage covers a fairly small area in a well-populated part of the city, so hopefully Ken will get his power back soon, and be able to restart the cams.

Most Cams are Back

Ken just called to report that power has been restored at his place, and the feeds for the Delta, Surrey and White Rock cams have all be restored; you may need to refresh/reload the browser page to see them. French Creek is up because I'm sending that stream. Sadly Harrison Mills is not up - there's apparently an issue at the site, and we don't have a local contact there to check on that.

(There's a large thunderstorm near our place in Maine - we should miss the worst of it, but I could lose power and/or internet - so if French Creek goes down, that's probably why.)
