Delta2 2020 -2021 Observation and Discussion Thread

2:55pm....Ma and Trooper perched on the right of center pole.

3:00pm.......Many, many birds at the bay today........a lot of large white ones too.

3:05pm.....Someone perched on this pole to the north. Can't tell what it is.

3:08pm....The tower mate just arrived and has gone up top. Both tower adults home now.

3:09pm.....Ma and Trooper have not moved from the right of center pole.

I am now OFF both cams.

3:16 pm - one of our eagles landed on the nest with a bird of some sort

This is Trooper

3:33 pm - I am logging into the cams

I can hear Ma vocalizing from time to time but can't find her...must be up high

3:44 pm - Trooper eating

3:48 pm - Trooper is still eating....just look at that huge crop!

[SueB]

3:49 pm - Ma down from up top...she thinks Trooper has had enough of this meal....her turn now

Ma is taking some big bites

3:50 pm - yup...all one bite here

Wow, just look at that crop on Trooper....so big he looks like he's going to burst.

3:51 pm - Trooper hopped up to the back branch and then flew off to the Evergreen tree

[SueB]

3:51 pm - Trooper out on the evergreen tree

Ma on the nest...showing her huge crop too

[SueB]

3:59 pm - Trooper flew off ....went downward...not sure where he went to...checked all the poles and towers and didn't find him

Ma now done, cleans her beak

4:01 pm - Ma up to the branch

Then up higher on that branch to get a better look

She be bops her head around...looking for the right place to go and then off she goes
