8:26 am one of the eagles is preening. So nice to have great weather to be able to see Ma and Trooper much more clearly.

I am posting the video of Trooper's first visit to the nest on October 10, 2020, to bring it forward to the new thread for this year. So this post is out of sequence to record Trooper's homecoming. He flew from the first tower at 5:12 pm that afternoon to the nest. After picking around the nest, he then flew to the evergreen.

8:53 am I blinked and thought one flew off but they are still together. Just sitting where one is behind the other.

9:00 am logging off the west cam as need to get on with the day. Will check back later. If anyone sees our eagles at the nest, please share your observation.

9:52am...... .Good morning Sandy, Linuxgw2 and all Delta2 friends! Thanks Sandy for posting your video! As we no longer have an archive here it is a great addition to our forum! The rollback only lasts for a limited time events are lost forever now........if anyone watching wants to post or make a short video (a few minutes only) it would be much appreciated.....thank you!

A much better day here today...........great to see the wind is gone and the sun is out!

9:51 am in rollback, Trooper poked around the nest and then flew. But the cam wiggled so not sure he went up to a part of the tree or not. Could be he is bounced off one of the branches.

10;05am............Don't know which way Trooper went. He could be up top in the tree. There is one adult on the first pole.

Now that the long branches have been shortened we may find our eagles not perching as much on them.......they might choose to go up to the higher branches. But any eaglets would still use these shorter branches.

10:13pm......This is a really long shot.............this area/tree is the dead looking tree to the left of the bluff nest. I can see 2 white dots there......might be those eagles or not. Something to watch for........too bad the view is so unclear.

10:16am......There's Trooper! Didn't see him at first as he blends into the evergreen tree.

So that would be Ma on the first pole.

Checked the rollback........the first time I looked Trooper was not here, so I did not miss him then.
