Well Sandy you asked the question so I just had to go back and check.....and you had him on cam on the evergreen....here's the first shot right after he first left the nest....yes that little speck is him
2020-01-22 14_36_03-Greenshot.jpg
And then the 2nd time around he was still there and as you pulled the cam back to the nest he was flying off and heading back. I think he likes to grab branches from down low here.

12:05pm..........Thanks Sandy for your posts.............Sue, I think you are right about Trooper fetching branches from that location................will have to watch out for that.

Checked the rollback..........No eagles have been to the nest since the last post.

I only have a few minutes but will check the cams...........IN on both cams.

12:10pm..............The weather started out quite nice today but now it seems to be turning nasty again! The wind has come up and the cams are bouncing! Skies are darker now and rain looks to be threatening.

One adult on the first pole.

12:22pm....We still have one adult on the first pole. As I was searching for our mate an adult came zipping by low down from the area beyond the stick tree.................wonder if that was Trooper or Ma?

12:27pm......There seems to be someone on the distant evergreen........don't think anyone was there before when I quickly looked. This could be the adult that went zipping by.........might be the mate we are looking for.

The other adult remains on the first pole.

The weather has definitely turned for the worst now.....so windy and raining. Our adults will be trying to deal with this today from the looks of it.

I am now OFF both cams...........back later.

Hi Jean! I was interested to see where this eagle came from so I had to go back and check it out....that had to be Ma or Trooper....and this was a good hiding spot for those times when we can't find the mate at night....probably Trooper, especially when Ma has gone to the Old Nest Tree......Anyway, this one was tucked in behind a branch...couldn't see them until right before they flew off and moved their head out so we could get a glimpse of them. Had to keep starting and stopping the rollback to see this because the cam moved just as they flew out so it blurred everything. Here's the s'cap I was able to get so we can see where that spot is, and then I cropped it to see our eagle better.
