4:25 pm - Beautiful sight seeing both of our eagles together....thanks Jean and Sandy for capturing them together in the tower. One still on the first tower, the other in the center tower.
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
4:27 pm our eagle has a big wing stretch.
Sue or Jean, would one of you like the cams? I need to get a bite to eat and will leave in a few minutes.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown

4:33 pm - Sandy, I have the cam. Thanks! Have a great night!
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
4:34 pm - Trooper (?) is no longer on the first tower....was last seen there at 4:31 pm
4:37 pm - looked around at the other towers, poles, and trees and didn't find our other eagle....can hear birds at the nest so I'm assuming our eagle is not there.

4:41 pm - our eagle that was on the first tower is now on the Delta Port pole eating a meal
Their mate is still inside the center tower
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
4:51 pm - adult is taking a quick break from eating
Their mate still in the center tower
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
5:10 pm - our eagle on the Delta Port pole has been finished with their meal for a little bit....moved to the left side of the pole
Our other eagle is still inside the center tower...they had done a wing stretch a few minutes ago...thought they were leaving but they are still there
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
5:21 pm - the adult on the port pole has turned and is now facing directly at the cam....their shoulders seem kind of wide to me....more like Ma's. And that one little feather sticking out on the right side....hmmm. Wish they would come to the nest to ID them
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
If there is an available zoomer that would like to take the cam please do so...I need to leave in a few minutes.
Re: Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread
5:30 pm - I need to step away from the cam for a few minutes or so.....if an available zoomer would like to take the cam please do so...leaving the cam on the center tower for now. Eagle there and the Delta port pole

I was still thinking it was Trooper because Ma is the one that regularly goes to the center tower....but then when they stood on the pole looking at us it looked more like Ma.....will never know for sure unless they come to the nest.Sandy_W wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 5:34 pmSue, this does remind me of Ma, especially with the feather sticking out.SueB wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 5:22 pm5:21 pm - the adult on the port pole has turned and is now facing directly at the cam....their shoulders seem kind of wide to me....more like Ma's. 6:02pm........Thank you Sue, Sandy and Rose! I wouldn't be surprised to see our adults come to the nest.....if not there, they will go to the stick trees for the night hopefully!
Or they could sleep in the tower tonight.
Rose if you wish to stay on the cams that is fine.......I will post for you.

6:15pm.....This adult looks to me like it is waiting for the mate to come to the tower to join it for the night. Wonder what will actually happen.
