Delta2 2019 -2020 Observation and Discussion Thread

5:08 am in rollback and out of sequence. I went back to see where Shadow was in the stick tree and found where he moved in the tree and then flew, coming straight to the nest.

5:50 am logging off both cams. Ma and Trooper are still at the Delta pole and far right pole. So hope to see Shadow again today.

8:03 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am logging into the cams....will check the rollback shortly

I checked the rollback and did not see any visits to the nest since Sandy's last post

8:06 am - one adult is on the far right pole

The other is on the first pole

8:08 am - our adult on the first pole flew off...heading toward the nest tree...but then went around and toward the evergreens...lost them back there but then picked them up as they got near the distant evergreen tree and landed there...I think someone else was already there...maybe a juvie

8:10 am - here's the adult as they came toward the distant evergreen

And here they are on the tree....I went back but couldn't find my s'cap showing another figure there

8:15 am - then the adult on the far right pole flew of and headed to the right...passing by the Tower eagles' area and pass the city pole....lost them as they were traveling toward the distant evergreen tree area....and then heard someone land in the nest so not sure if this is the one that was on the distant evergreen tree or if somehow the adult on the far right pole got to the nest this quickly but they sure were moving when they left that pole

8:16 am - here is the adult in the nest...looks like Trooper to me...he seemed to be checking things out

Then preening

8:22 am - Trooper flew off the nest and headed to the Evergreen tree

8:23 am - Trooper didn't stay there long...off he goes...flying downward and away from the tree

Caught up with Trooper on the E Cam as he flew there and was landing on the left side

8:24 am - Trooper settling in on top of the distant evergreen

And now, with just a little bit of breeze, we can see both adults....at least I think it is both adults...hard to see the white on their heads with the current lighting

8:44 am - again, assuming this is both of our adults....I know for sure that is Trooper on the left because I saw him leave the evergreen tree and land there....but the other one could be Ma or it could be Shadow...don't know for sure as I can't see a white head

8:48 am - one of the eagles left the distant evergreen tree....and I thought they may have come back and flown from there again but I can't seem to find that on the rollback

In any case, Trooper came to the nest and he may have brought in some grasses...he was tidying things up

8:54 am - Trooper left the nest and I lost him as soon as he left...not sure which way he went

But thinking Trooper was going to the ground for more grasses, so checked next to the stick tree, where I've seen our eagles go before, and did find a bird....but not an eagle...looks like a robin...they were running around

8:55 am - someone is still on the distant evergreen tree at this time

9:02 am - an adult on the church cross

9:03 am - this someone is still on the distant evergreen tree....really not see any white on the head so maybe a juvie
