3:20pm...It is good to have clean cams now...............and our view of the poles is wonderful now with some of those branches gone!

A big big thanks to David, Larry, Myles, Ken and all who worked on this today! Ma and Trooper will be happy to see their nest when they come back............and we are all happy to see the nest safe and ready for them!

Well done everyone! :bravo:

Thanks to all our wonderful zoomers who took so much time today to keep watch over this job. And thanks to everyone who popped in for a look! :ty:

Thanks Sandy, Sue and Judy!

Jean and Sandy, I need to log off but can come back. If one of you would like the cams please log in. Major issue with the E Cam though as it will not tilt up all the way and won't zoom out all the way. Maybe it's just me but someone else should check it.

Edit: I just hit the home button and tried again and it may be fine but I have to go.

Turned out to be a beautiful day for the cam maintenance! There is some comfort in knowing Ma and Trooper's nest has been shored up. Changes yes, but figure Ma and Trooper will make the adjustment. Amazed me how well Myles, Larry, and David work together to get the job done. And what a good job they did!

The E cam went up before Sue...........was right up to show the black circle above. And won't zoom out? I can check.

3:30pm.........On the E cam.........seems when you hit a preset it goes up high first(bottom s'cap)........lens sees the cover so won't zoom in farther but you can then move the cam down to manually zoom in on the object you are wanting to see. Don't know if this is just a problem because the presets need to be done or something else.........maybe a reboot would help.

3:34pm....I just hit the home button and it is showing a high view too..........might just be the cams need new presets. Will notify Admin before trying a reboot in case that isn't the problem.

I am OFF the E cam
............will send off an email to Judy.

A quick check of the W cam showed the presets need to be done again but look to be normal otherwise.

5:51 pm - looks like there could be a couple of small birds here on the far right tower

And looks like another small bird lower down on the Tower eagles' tower

7:30pm........IN on both cams.

Think this could be a hawk on the tower to the right of the big Tower nest.

Hi all! I forgot to take my camera today but took a bunch of pictures on my phone which takes terrible pics. I managed to get 2 decent ones of the job under the nest. The guys did a fantastic job of reinforcing the tree and the nest. It looks really strong from underneath. I wish i got better pictures but they still give a good idea of the reinforcements.
