7:06pm.......It was very faint but they both just flew off and headed to the left. Maybe their nest is in that area.

Did not see anyone go to the school trees or the stick tree.

Ma and Trooper did not come to the nest tonight. We are not seeing a lot of eagles back yet, just a few. I think there is no urgency for our pair to be right here............they have claimed their nest and will be keeping an eye on it. Once more eagles come to the area I expect them to spend more time here closer to the nest.

Thanks everyone for being here today!
I am now OFF both cams.

5:58 am - Good Morning Delta 2! I am logging into the cams as I am hearing an owl very close by and want to see if we can see him. Actually I think I am hearing two of them. One is closer than the other...they are talking to each other.

6:11 am - I'm far from being an expert but that sounded like two Great Horned Owls. Looked around the tree but it is way too dark to see anything. One could have been high up in the nest tree, that's how close it sounded, while the other seemed to be away from the nest tree. Now they are silent. I will keep the cams up to see if they come back.

Sunrise this morning

7:08 am - looks like there is someone on top of the church cross. It's still not quite light enough but will keep an eye on them.

7:25 am - maybe an eagle in the water here

7:28 am - well, I had taken the cam off of the eagle on the church cross and when I got back there they were gone. Came to see another on on the poles by the bay....using the W Cam it seemed a little blurry so decided to use the E Cam instead.....but by the time I got back there it was gone. Here is the shot from the W Cam. I am not seeing any other eagles in the area right now.

I will keep the cams up, and keep an ear to them, but will be up and about doing some things around the house. If there is an available zoomer that would like to take the cams please do so.

9:39am..............All the eagles must have a special event they are attending..........no one seen at all. There are some black dots by the water and a few flying dots there too. No way to verify what kind of birds they are. And they are too small to get in a s'cap.

I am now OFF both cams.

Please post if you are watching and see eagles in the nest. Thanks!

Hi Jean, Sandy, Sue, Rose, Bev, Darlene, Mrs. Thornhill, and everyone. So excited to see that Trooper and Ma are home safe and sound and looking very healthy. Thank you for all the s’caps and observations so far; looking forward to this new season. Goodnight everyone.
Sorry, Marianne.........just came across this post from a couple of days ago..............somehow missed it before! Thank you..............Hopefully it will be a good year for all our nests! :D :luck:

9:48am..........Just for the record............Ma and Trooper were both seen on Sept. 30th. Trooper was in the nest on Oct. 1st............we have not seen Ma for certain since the 30th. There are very few eagles being seen on our cams right now.............so this is not a concern. The weather is lovely right now and our eagles are freer with their time and movements until we have more visitors in the area.

2:13 pm: Logged into cams to see if any eagles are in the area.
2:25 pm: Scrolled through rollback & scanned area. No signs of an eagle on the nest, since last check, & no signs of an eagle presently in the area. Signing off cams now.
It's a great event to get outside and enjoy nature. I find it very exciting no matter how many times I see bald eagles.
