3:21 pm looks like two eagles are perched on the distant tower.

3:29 pm Ma still incubating her eggs. I haven't found Trooper as yet. With the wind blowing, he may have tucked in someplace or soaring in the wind.

3:37 pm Ma in the nest. I am leaving the west cam zoomed in a bit to hopefully get a little closer look a the eggs.

to Anyone----Question---How do Eagles recognize each other, up close or at a distance---could be dangerous...maybe a call or ESP

My guess would be that they could recognize each other by their physical features such as feathers, colourings etc. that may not be noticed by us as humans, but more important than that and likely a more valid guess it that they each have unique vocalizations. Many birds recognize their mates by this so it wouldn't be unusual if this also applies to eagles.

4:50pm......Ma got up to tend to the eggs......still not much of a view of them. We need our eggs to be alone without an eagle hovering over them casting a shadow or blocking the view! :D

4:59pm...Ma remains on the nest........cannot confirm it is Trooper on the distant evergreen, but he can't be found elsewhere.

6:02 pm - took the W Cam off of Trooper and put it on the eggs....was only able to get a few shots before Trooper came down and blocked the view. I am not seeing a thing on the eggs that looks like a pip

Also checked the distant evergreen tree and the adult that was there is now gone, so maybe that was Trooper.

7:22pm........Couldn't see the middle pole with the W cam due to the sun setting.....but the E cams shows us a better view........Ma is there.

Cam controls are awful right now.........if the cam goes in and out or doesn't seem to be right, it isn't the zoomer. :D
