eggs to show a tiny hole at first ?----nest to get crowded soon
Good afternoon alexanderernie! Yes, we look for anything unusual about the shell............that sometimes appears first as a tiny crack, or a pushing out of the shell. That will eventually become a hole............then a bigger hole that we often can see the chick inside of...........and finally the complete opening of the egg.

Hi alexanderernie.........this is 35 days after the first egg was laid. This first egg will likely be delayed as our pair purposefully cools the first egg down so that the other eggs hatch closer in time to the first one.
