8:24 am - the Tower Eagle is still on their left pole
Our eagle...whoever that may be...is still on the first pole
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
Sandy, I have to go for a little bit. Thanks for zooming! Hoping our eagle comes to the nest so we can ID them.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
8:41 am Trooper (or maybe Ma) still at the first pole. The tower eagle still at the pole left of their tower.
Thanks, Sue, for being here to help me with posting. Hopefully sometime today we will see either both Ma or Trooper in the nest. 8:44 am logging off both cams. Will be back later.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
Hello everyone
The eagles are starting to return. I just came from walking my dog on the beach, the tide was out. I noticed an adult eagle sitting in the sand on Boundary Bay in the Beach Grove area. It was calling out and then flew.
I came to the forum to see if our eagles had returned and lo and behold, see that Trooper is back.
It sure appears that they are now returning to the area. Ma surely will be here soon if she is not already.
Here’s to the start of another eagle season.

9:47am...........
Good morning Delta2 friends! What a lovely way to start the day with Trooper clearly home and if I'm reading the posts correctly there could be a second eagle around??? Time will tell, and I know we all want Ma to come home now too.
Not a bad day, but sure wish that wind would go away.
I cannot be here until later.........please post if you are watching and see any eagles in the nest! Thanks!

10:44 am logging into both cams for a few minutes to check to see if any eagles are around.
Cherryl, how wonderful to see an eagle at Boundary Bay. And good morning, Jean. It does seem to be a bit windy now.

10:49 am saw a rather large bird, which could have been an eagle soaring and flying. Tried to follow but lost it in the clouds.
11:08 am logging off both cams. At times, it is rather windy. if anyone sees any nest activity, please post. Hoping to see Trooper and Ma today.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. 11:47 am Trooper still working on the rabbit. He is going to have a nice crop. Noticed his tail and still looks a little "ragged."
Hi Jean. He looks good, doesn't he?“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. And when they fly, oh, how they fly, so free, so graceful. They see from the sky what we never see.” – Unknown
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread

Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
11:55 am Trooper's neckline certainly seems more distinctive with the array of feathers.
Jean, I am still experiencing a bit of lag with the computer. I need to do some cleaning this afternoon. So I am good to go to post as long as you want to stay on.“Eagles: When they walk, they stumble. They are not what one would call graceful. They were not designed to walk. They fly. Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
12:05pm.......Every time Trooper hears a noise he turns his head. A cautious eater.
The focus on the cams is odd lately.........taking a lot of time to focus when the cam moves or when changing betweeen FS and embedded cam views.

12:05 am Trooper seems to be finished and seems to be trying to figure out what to do with the leftover rabbit.
